Actively participate in the formulation and revision of international carbon footprint related standard rules, and promote the connection and mutual recognition of carbon footprint accounting rules and certification results.
Build a new model of green and low-carbon transformation and win-win for electricity. Through conferences such as the World Energy Conference, the Northeast Asia Regional Forum on Electricity Networking and Cooperation, and the China ASEAN Forum on Electricity Cooperation and Development, we aim to expand dialogue and exchanges in deeper and broader fields, deepen technological innovation exchanges and best practice sharing in new energy, hydrogen energy, energy storage, and other fields, and explore new paths for win-win market cooperation.
Strengthen basic theoretical research. Accelerate the construction of the national energy research and development innovation platform, strengthen the basic theoretical research of the new power system, and continuously tackle key technologies such as active support for new energy generation, system operation, and simulation control. Strengthen the research and development of technologies such as multi terminal ultra-high voltage flexible straightening, large capacity long-term energy storage, and renewable energy hydrogen production to serve the transformation and development of the industry.
Accelerate the construction of an independent and controllable modern energy and power industry system. Strengthen the localization substitution of specialized software, key components, and core materials to enhance risk resistance. Strengthen the transformation and application of scientific research achievements, accelerate the development of green major equipment, and promote the digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading of the industry. Continuously promoting the application of new generation information technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, blockchain and other new technologies in the field of electricity.
At the same time, the overall level of green development in China is not high enough, and the foundation is relatively weak. The industrial structure is biased towards coal, and the energy efficiency is low. The carbon dioxide emission intensity per unit of GDP is about 30% higher than the world average. Faced with the situation of ensuring the safe and stable supply of electricity and the time constraints for achieving the "dual carbon" goals, it is necessary to firmly and vigorously develop non fossil energy, actively promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry. This is not only an inherent requirement for achieving the dual carbon goals, but also an urgent need to address external challenges.
