Self healing parallel capacitor BSMJ0.25-6.6A-40A

With the development of reactive power compensation technology, for three-phase unbalanced loads, three-phase capacitors can be switched separately to compensate for reactive power in phases. This makes the compensation accuracy higher and the energy-saving effect better. For this purpose, our company has developed a split phase compensation parallel capacitor, which has a neutral point lead out terminal on the outer shell, which can conveniently achieve the split phase switching of the capacitor. Product features


Three single-phase capacitors are connected to the Y neutral point and led out (marked with N terminal), forming three single-phase common capacitors.
When in use, AN, BN, and CN are each independent units.
Each of the three independent units is connected to a discharge resistor for safer use.
Any damage to any three independent units can be reliably disconnected by connecting pressure isolation devices.

Working conditions


After the capacitor is cut off from the power supply, it is necessary to ensure that the remaining voltage of the capacitor drops to 10% of the rated voltage before allowing it to be put back into operation. Usually, this time takes about 200 seconds, so the controller should be selected with
A controller with a locking time function for re switching after removal.
If a general controller is used, a fast discharge facility should be installed separately. For those using equipotential switching, this limitation is not applicable.
The altitude shall not exceed 2000m.

Installation precautions
Installation and maintenance must be carried out by qualified personnel;
Before operation, the power supply of the equipment must be cut off;
After disconnection, maintain the interval between the next input time for at least 3 minutes. Before touching the capacitor, use an insulated wire to discharge the two poles of the capacitor;
A gap of at least 30mm should be maintained between capacitors, and sufficient ventilation space should be reserved inside the capacitor cabinet, which needs to be installed in a well ventilated area.
